Maico only was officially formed in 1994 by Eric cook The founder, In 2001 he purchased Maico USA with there total inventory of Maicos, also having secured usa maico.

It is eric s life long passion for vintage racing that has enabled him to preserve Maicos and help many others continue to enjoy the sport of motocross on probably the finest machines of our time.

Whilst anything that is sought after -parts and maintence are important and having a Major following in the USA Maico Only have been pioneering world class facilities maximizing quality and reliability,with dedicated manufacturing cells and computer controlled automisation and robotics.

Today they design and build parts that are sought after and and to enhance the Maico performance.

With huge stocks of original parts at maico only in the USA - we too now have parts readily accessible without the normal long lead times right here in the uk.

Carl Bailey the Chief executive of the European operation himself a schoolboy rider in the 70s and 80s has the passion to maintain the maico racing heritage and offers genuine maico parts and services and has special inside expertise having had training at the Maico only racing factory in LA.
